Arukah's approach to wellness
restoration

Not a product, but a lifestyle.

Arukah is an ancient word for healing, restoration, perfect health and wholeness. That is the core of this brand – to help you experience restoration of body, mind and soul.

As a wellness advocate and educator, I don't believe in "prescribing" you with yet another supplement to patch over your symptoms, I want to see you restored from the root - I believe in empowering you with a deeper understanding of your health imbalances, how to deal with the root issue and then provide you with simple health habits to implement in your daily routine while using natural remedies to support your restoration.

Disease is an effort of nature to free the system from conditions that result from a violation of the laws of health. In case of sickness, the cause should be ascertained. Unhealthful conditions should be changed, wrong habits corrected. Then nature is to be assisted in her effort to expel impurities and to re-establish right conditions in the system.

Nutrition

Proper nutrition involves more than just avoiding refined foods, sugar, and salt. It's about consciously choosing nutrient-rich foods to fuel our bodies. Include a diverse range of fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, legumes, and whole grains in your diet. Opt for cold-pressed, extra virgin natural oils and prioritize fresh, minimally processed meals. Remember, the more humans manipulate food, the lower its nutritional value becomes. So, prioritize fresh and raw options. Try adding a fruit or vegetable salad to every meal for an extra nutritional boost.

Exercise

Exercise is not limited to joining a gym—it's about engaging in physical activities that you enjoy. Find an activity that gets you moving and brings you joy, whether it's dancing, hiking, swimming, or playing a sport. Regular exercise stimulates the immune system, boosts the production of happiness hormones like serotonin, aids in weight and stress management, and improves sleep quality. Additionally, exercise helps maintain muscle tone and strength. Start small by incorporating movement into your daily routine, such as walking instead of driving short distances or taking the stairs instead of the elevator.

Water

While the conventional recommendation is to drink eight glasses of water per day, it's important to focus on overall fluid intake. Opt for water and other healthy fluids over soft drinks and other acidic beverages. Soft drinks can be highly detrimental to our health due to their acidity. Adequate hydration promotes overall health, aids in digestion, and supports numerous bodily functions. Additionally, consider the benefits of hydrotherapy, such as alternating hot and cold showers to stimulate circulation and assist in detoxification.

Sunlight

Sunlight plays a crucial role in our well-being as it provides us with essential vitamin D. Spend some time outdoors to benefit from sunlight exposure, but remember to protect your skin from excessive UV radiation by using sunscreen and wearing appropriate clothing. Aim for a balance between enjoying the benefits of sunshine and protecting yourself from harmful effects.

Temperance

Temperance emphasizes moderation and self-control in all aspects of life. Avoid excessive indulgence in substances or behaviors that can harm your health, such as overeating, alcohol abuse, smoking, or addictive behaviors. Practicing temperance helps maintain balance, prevents harmful consequences, and promotes overall well-being.

Air

Good air quality is crucial for our health. Ensure proper ventilation in your living and working spaces to promote fresh air circulation. Open windows regularly, use air purifiers, and avoid exposure to pollutants whenever possible. Spending time in nature and taking deep breaths of fresh air can invigorate your body and mind.

Rest

Sufficient rest and quality sleep are vital for our bodies to repair and rejuvenate. Establish a consistent sleep schedule and create a relaxing bedtime routine. Optimize your sleep environment by keeping your bedroom dark, quiet, and cool. If you experience difficulties sleeping, consider avoiding stimulating activities before bed.

Trust

Cultivating trust and spirituality can provide emotional support and inner strength. Find practices such as prayer, bible scripture meditation, mindfulness, or connecting with a community that shares your beliefs. Nourishing your spiritual well-being can contribute to overall health and balance in life. Connecting with your Creator has a life changing effect on your health!

Remember that these eight laws of health are general guidelines for achieving well-being. Each individual's health journey is unique, and it's important to consult healthcare professionals for personalized advice and treatment when necessary. Prioritize your health, make small changes, and embrace a holistic approach to well-being.
